

She was active in her community both politically and as a business woman. She was a Realtor and a
member and officer for many years in Women’s Council of Realtors. She owned a large consignment
store in Pompano Beach and was a member of the North Broward Democratic Club where she held the
offices of President, Secretary and Treasurer. Marilyn loved sports and enjoyed golf and bowling. She
loved music and played piano and the organ and was an avid reader.
Marilyn is predeceased by her husband William and youngest daughter Kathleen. Marilyn will be
missed by her daughter Kerry and son-in-law Richard DeRosa, her daughter Susan, her son JB Connors
and daughter-in-law Denice. She will be missed by grandchildren Chris and wife Leah DeRosa, Billy and
wife Tiffany DeRosa, lauren Connors, Ian Connors and Alexander Capaldi, along with 5 great grandchildren: Braylin and Briella
DeRosa, and Brielle, Brycen, and Eden Connors. A Gathering will be held at Kraeer Funeral Home, 200 N
Federal Hwy, Pompano Beach, Fl. 33062 at 4pm, Friday August 8th, followed by a Celebration of Life at
5pm officiated by Rev. Eddie Hernandez.
