Michael S. Karsner, 67, a generous, loving, and full-of-life husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away and is now with his Creator on March 29, 2026. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Mike had a home in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and Havre de Grace, Maryland.
Mike built an extended career in banking and manufacturing, recently serving as CFO of Multi-Bank Securities, Inc. He formerly held senior financial and operating positions with several Fortune 500 companies, including CFO positions with AIMCO, AutoNation, Dole Food Company, and Black & Decker Corporation. He also served as CEO of ANC Rental Corporation, which was the parent company of Alamo Rent-A-Car and National Car Rental.
Mike held a Bachelor of Science, Master of Business Administration, and Master of Science in Finance. His higher education was completed at the University of Maryland and Loyola University in Baltimore.
Mike’s passion was being with his family, and he enjoyed golfing with his wife and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Anna Karsner, and is survived by his wife (Susan), children (Michael/Hannah), (Rachel/Sam Sweeney-Kohl), granddaughters (Andrea and Lily), and beloved nieces and nephews.
