Nanotte was born in Ouanaminthe, Haiti to Sylvain and Aricie Bien-Aime on January 12, 1944. She graduated from College Victoriavillle in Montreal Canada where she received her Nursing degree. She married Arnold on December 26, 1974 in Haiti. She worked as a Registered Nurse for 26 years.
Nanotte is preceded in death by her father Sylvain Bien-Aime, her mother Aricie Bien-Aime, and her sister Marie-Mercie Joachim.
Nanotte will be lovingly remembered by her husband Arnold Obbey; her children Nathalie and Allen Obbey; her siblings Marie Suze Bien-Aime, Jean Claude Bien-Aime and their spouses; her grandchildren Sabrina and Gabrielle Vargas. Her nieces, nephews, cousins, and her extended family and friends, will also forever remember her.
She was a woman of prayer. she was compassionate, kind and generous to everyone around her. Nanotte was a caring and a faithful friend to many. She will be sorely missed.
A visitation will be held on Saturday July 17, 2021 from 10:30 - 11:30AM at Church of All Nations, 1300 NW 4th Ave, Boca Raton, FL 33432, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:30AM. Burial to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery 1500 S. State Rd 7, North Lauderdale, FL 33068.
