Robert Dana Evans

Robert Dana Evans died February 1, 2016 in Pompano Beach Florida after a lengthy illness. He was 83. Mr. Evans was the beloved husband of Catherine (Tyman) Evans for 62 years. Born in Boston MA, graduated from Newton High in 1950, was a member of the U.S. Marines, V.F.W. and the Masons.

He retired from AT&T after 36 years of service. He lived in Medway MA for 32 years and more recently split his time between Milford, MA and Pompano Beach FL. He was an avid golfer. He is survived by his 6 children Carole Hutchison of Houston, Tx; Patricia Halon of Raynham, MA; Robert M. Evans, Sr. of Lawrenceville, GA; Cheryl Evans of Millis, MA; Elizabeth Evans of Conroe, TX, and Diana Jennings of Spring, TX.

He was grandfather to Christina Reed, Nicole Hutchison, Stacy Hutchison, Kimberly Halon Alan, Jennifer Halon Ford, Sarah Evans Peacock, Heather Evans Mavros, Robert M. Evans, Jr., and Adam Jennings.
