Robert Irving Laird Jr.

Robert Irving Laird, Jr. age 73 passed away on February 10, 2023. Robert is survived by his daughters Bobbi, Shawn, and Samantha, his grandchildren Brytney, Ashlie, Robert Austin, Allexis, David, Jonathon, and Ryan, along with two great granddaughters, Josephine and Cadence.

His friends knew him just as The Bob (aka, Legs Laird), while his family referred to him as Pop-Pop, Grampy Bob, or Grandpa Bob.

Robert was born on January 30, 1950 in Pennsylvania. He joined the Marine Corps in February of 1968 and served in the Vietnam war. He enjoyed working in the family bakery as a young man and later became a world class window tinter. Bob was a family man, who had many friends. He loved spending time with his family, doted on his children and grandchildren, and enjoyed taking his yearly cruise. His favorite extracurricular activity was playing golf but we all know he also enjoyed trying his luck at the casino now and then.

The funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, February 18, 2023 at 2:00 PM with a celebration of life to follow at 5:30 PM at the FOP Hall, 4500 SW 13th St, Ft. Lauderdale, 33317.
