Stajka immigrated to the United States in 1974, becoming the first of her eight sisters to do so. She initially settled in Dearborn, Michigan before moving to Fort Lauderdale, Florida - a place she truly loved and where she thrived.
She was preceded in death by her husband Tommy Vangov, and by five of her sisters. She was the sixth of the eight siblings to pass. She is survived by her two sisters, Gordana and Borka, as well as many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family members who cherished her deeply.
Stajka was known for her vibrant and outgoing personality. She loved staying active and embraced life fully, enjoying dancing, long walks, the outdoors, Zumba, and frequent social gatherings. A familiar and joyful presence at church, she loved to socialize, dance, and connect with others, forming many long lasting friendships. She also had a special love for cats and was rarely without one by her side.
Above all, Stajka was a joy to be around - warm, energetic, and deeply loved by her family and friends. Her laughter, kindness, and zest for life will be remembered eternally.
