Tom was born on December 30, 1926, in Akron, OH, to Robert and Naomi Tuck.
He graduated North High School in 1945, served in the Army Air Force, worked the coal mines in Arizona, was an Arizona Highway Patrolman, a purchaser for Motorola and retired as a USPS Letter Carrier.
He enjoyed tennis, Senior track and field, specifically pole vaulting, bowling and he absolutely LOVED golf. Tee time was anytime. He was an active golfer until well into his 80’s when his skin cancer prevented him from enjoying the sport. Those who knew him, knew he could be found in his yard putting and chipping away. He did this until just before his 90th birthday.
He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Patricia Tuck; sister Margaret Waite (Ron); his 3 daughters; Hillary (Doug) Smith, June (Ray) Fleischmann and Alice Smorgala (Steve Kexel); his grandchildren Geordie Smith, Geoffrey Smith, Rebecca Fleischmann and Cody Smorgala.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert and Sterling and his son, Theodore.
Tom was a kind, thoughtful, quiet, considerate man. He loved his family and they loved him. He will be greatly missed.
A Celebration of Life Service will take place on January 5th 2018 starting at 5 pm. Arrangements entrusted to Kraeer Funeral Home, 200 N Federal Highway, Pompano Beach FL 33062 954-941-4111
