

Vincent "Vinnie" Decicco, 92, of Lighthouse Point, Florida, peacefully left this world on December 28, 2024. Born in New York, Vinnie made Florida his home in the early 1970s, where he built a life full of love, success, and cherished memories.
Vinnie is survived by his devoted wife, Maria; his beloved stepchildren: Johnny, Katia and Miriam; and his treasured grandchildren Anthony, Enrico, Joseph, Michael, Nicolette, Danielle, Diego, and Geanella. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends who loved him dearly. Vinnie was preceded in death by his parents, Vincent and Antoinette; his first wife, Antonetta; his daughter, Nancy; his sons-in-law Michael and Peter; and beloved brothers.
A proud Army veteran of the Korean War, Vinnie’s honorable service earned him several prestigious decorations, including the United Nations Service Medal, Korean Service Medal, Bronze Service Medal, and National Defense Medal. After his service, he moved to Florida with his loving family, where he became a highly successful business owner, opening the renowned Vinnie’s Prime Meats Butcher Shop in Lighthouse Point.
Vinnie was known for his unwavering love, loyalty, and dedication as a son, father, brother, husband, grandfather, and friend. His memory will be treasured by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was a devoted husband to Antonetta and a loving father to Nancy, remaining by their sides until their final days on Earth. Now, they are reunited in Heaven.
In his second chance at love, Vinnie found joy and companionship with Maria. Together, they shared a life filled with adventure, traveling the world and creating beautiful memories. Their love and commitment to one another remain an inspiring testament to true devotion.
Vinnie will be remembered for his impeccable character, his sharp sense of humor, and his unforgettable laugh. Though he was a man of few words, his word was his bond, and his legacy of integrity, kindness, and love will live on.
Vinnie was truly a world-class gentleman, deeply loved and respected by all who knew him. His memory will forever carry on in the hearts of those he leaves behind until we meet again in Heaven.
Vinnie will be greatly missed.
A graveside service will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens North, located at 200 W Copans Rd, Pompano Beach, FL 33064, United States. The service is scheduled for December 31, 2024, from 12:00 pm.
