William (Bill) L. Pickrel

William L. Pickrel was born March 15, 1945 in Columbus, Ohio to Robert and Mary Pickrel and left this world Sunday January 30, 2022. Bill married Barbara E. Lowry (Wellman) on July 3, 1977 and moved their blended family into there house on Wallingford Ave in Westerville, Ohio. Bill worked at Gamatronics in Dublin Ohio for over twenty years where he mastered the art of working with sheet metals, digital graphics application, equipment functions and operation. William retired in 1985 to pursue his own Graphic and Silk-Screening business out of the family’s home. For the next four years he produced graphics for Aviation controls and Hospital equipment.

William was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Mary Pickrel, sister Charlene Sweet, daughter Billie Jo. Pickrel Nolen, and wife Barbara E. Pickrel.

Bill left behind to cherish his memory: Sister; Patty Harper. Nephew; Robert (Paula) Sweet. Nieces; Jill (Robb) Trout and Cindy (Bruce) Bales. Children; Jesse (Cheryl) Pickrel, Katherine Wellman, and Judy Wellman. Grandchildren; Meia (Kifle) Pearson, Jennifer (Joe) Franczak, Ebony Lunsford, Mahogany Nolen, Kendra Nolen, Kacey Wellman, Brittany Pickrel, Jesse Pickrel Jr. Dawson Roby and Aaron Dixon. Many great grandchildren.

Kathrine Wellman Bill’s step daughter for being a devoted caregiver and to Todd E. Osborn Bill’s life long friend. We are truly thankful Bill was taken care of until he was re-united with his loving wife.
