Brenda Brown

Brenda K. Gray Brown, age 61, passed away on Monday, June 1, 2015 at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, growing beautiful flowers, fishing and painting. She was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and a friend to many.

Services will be at 2 PM Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at Browning Funeral Home Chapel in Pontotoc with Rev. Joey Swords officiating; a private burial will follow in the Baldwin Memorial Gardens. Browning Funeral Home in Pontotoc is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include her husband: Roger E. Brown, two daughters: Brandie Thomas and Jennifer L. Russell, a son: Rodney E. Brown (Elonie), three sisters: Sue Ferguson (Hershel), Carol Billings (Bobby) and Judy Stancil (Larry Douglas); and four brothers: Gerald Gray (Elsie), Jimmy Gray (Carolyn), Larry Gray (Sherron) and Gary Gray; ten grandchildren: Benjamin Cobb, Kayla Brown, Ashlyn Thomas, Roger Brown, Allyson Thomas, Selena Brown, Jace Russell, Anna Scott Thomas, Ava Russell and Austin Thomas; and one great-granddaughter: Haley Jo Beard.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Marshal Gray and Ruby Huckabee Gray; and a brother: Gene Gray and an infant daughter: Michelle.

Pallbearers will be: Ricky Ferguson, Randy Ferguson, Jerry Whitten, Jeff Collums, Kerry Hodge and Benjamin Cobb.

Visitation will be from 12 to 2 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
