James Roy Hale

James Roy Hale, age 80, died Thursday, August 01, 2013 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford. He was a member of Pleasant Dale Baptist Church and a retired furniture factory worker. He enjoyed fox hunting, deer hunting, wagon rides, riding horses and spending time with his grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 AM Monday, August 5, 2013 at Browning Funeral Home Chapel in Pontotoc with Rev. Lee Graham officiating; burial will follow in the Sand Springs Cemetery. Browning Funeral Home in Pontotoc is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include his wife: Ollie Fay Cobb Hale; his two daughters: Denece Graham (Dwayne) and Cindy Owens (Ricky); a son: Danny Hale (Glenda) all of Hurricane; two sisters-in-law: Brenda Hale of Arlington, TN and Judy Cooper of Pine Dale; five grandchildren: Jeremy Graham (Beth) of Hurricane, Jamie Graham of San Francisco, CA, Deanna DeCremer (Kirt) of Altus, OK, Whitney Owens and Walker Hale both of Hurricane; three great grandchildren: Mary Hatley Graham and Kendall Graham both of Hurricane and Aubrey DeCremer of Altus, OK.

Pallbearers will be: Jeremy Graham, Jamie Graham, Walker Hale, Mike Garrett, John Michael Garrett, Bo Garrett and Drew Garrett.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 PM Sunday and from 10 to 11 AM Monday at the funeral home.
