She was saved in February 2006 and loved attending church until her health failed.

Services will be at 1:00 pm Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at Buchanan Baptist Church with Rev. David Westmoreland and Rev. David Barnett officiating; burial will follow in the Shady Grove Cemetery. Browning Funeral Home in Pontotoc is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include her husband: Clydie McDonald of Pontotoc; four daughters: Shirley Shepard of Aurora, IL, Sherry (Gerald) Powell of Hurricane, MS, Sharon (James) Welch of Pontotoc, MS and Sheila (Larry) Fry of Pontotoc, MS; one son: Danny (Kim) Joyner of Aurora, IL; one sister: Mary Nell Douglas of Randolph, MS; one brother: Larry Clements of Bruce, MS; two step-daughters: Lisa (Bert) Bryant and Teresa Bagwell, both of Pontotoc, MS and one step-son: Scotty McDonald; eleven grandchildren Daniel Edwards, Jerry Powell, Linda Sweet, Jeremy Joyner, Michelle Joyner, Michael Joyner, Cory Stierle, Joshua Stierle, Patricia Russell, Kristen Cissna and Amanda Cruse; fourteen great-grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, Jason Bryant, Jonathan McDonald, Jeremy McDonald, Chad Bagwell, Audra Bagwell and Brandy Martin and nine step great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Walter Clements and Mildred Davis Clements; her first husband: Martin (Sonny) Joyner; six brothers and one sister.

Pallbearers will be: Larry Fry, Kristopher Russell, Jimmy McDonald, Brandon Cissna, Corey Cruse and Phillip Pettit. Honorary pallbearer will be Jerry Powell.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home and 12 to 1 PM Wednesday at Buchanan Baptist Church.

Memorials may be sent to Buchanan Baptist Church for the parking lot fund.
