

Virginia leaves behind her many “children” and close caring friends in a life well lived. Her influence is a great legacy for all who knew her and whose lives touched hers.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Catherine, her brother Dr. Paul Goodman, her husband Hayden, and son Paul. She is survived by her sons Mike Dillard of Tupelo and Dr. Leigh Dillard (Debra) of Mansfield, La., Grandchildren Brian Dillard (Jana) of Basalt Co, Missy Lawrence (Chris) of Grand Cane, La, Krystin Marr of Mansfield, La, Leighton Dillard of Mansfield, La, Forrest Jenkins (Jake) of Oxford, Ms, and Casey Pernell (Jon) of Tupelo
Services will be held at First Baptist Church in Pontotoc on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at 3:00 PM with Brother Mickey Gentry, Minister of Music/Senior Adults as minister. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Monday March 2, 2015 in the church fellowship hall and from 1:30 to service time on Tuesday in the Church Sanctuary . Active Pallbearers will be Brian Dillard, Chuck Howell, Chris Lawrence, Jon Pernell, Jake Jenkins, Ross Fleming, Don Benjamin, and Bob Ray. Honorary Pallbearers will be Judge Jimmy Roberts, Judge Fred Wicker, Sarah Naugher, Betty Howard, Libba Cook, Larry Young, Buddy Montgomery, Dr. John Mitchell, Judge Charles Thomas, Dr. Forrest Tutor and Rep Dr. Mac Huddleston and others too numerous to mention.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation of service to a community or church organization of your choice or extend help to a specific person or family in need. Miss Virginia would like that.
