Wanda Sue McCord Hall

Wanda Sue McCord Hall, age 62, died Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at St. Dominic’s Hospital in Jackson, MS. She was born on March 11, 1950 in Ecru, MS to Samuel Bennett McCord and Virgie Bea Phillips McCord. She was retired from BellSouth, a travel agent and a BeautiControl Consultant. She enjoyed traveling, spending time with her grandchildren and shopping.

Services will be at 1 PM Friday, January 4, 2013 at Browning Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Daniel Herring and Rev. J.W. Owen officiating; burial will follow in Glasgow/Hopewell Cemetery. Browning Funeral Home in Pontotoc is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include her son: Sam R. Hall (Tara) of Florence, MS and three grandchildren: Joshua Hall, Ella Hall and Toby Hall.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband: Jimmy Lamar Hall.

Pallbearers will be: Benny Martin, Mike Martin, Ricky Hill, Lynn Hill, Tommy Long, Jimmy Phillips, Allen Lanier and James Thompson.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 PM Thursday and from 11 to 1 PM Friday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75231.
