

William “Billy” Wooten, Jr. age 76, died Monday, July 20, 2015 at NMMC in Tupelo. He was a member of Hebron Baptist Church and retired from Futorian Furniture Manufacturing and Pontotoc County District 3. He enjoyed gardening and sharing the fruits of his labor, tending his cows and spending time with his family.
Services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at Hebron Baptist Church with Rev. J.T. Pennington officiating; burial will follow in the Randolph Cemetery. Browning Funeral Home in Pontotoc is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include his wife: Glenda Franks Wooten of Randolph, MS; two daughters: Charlotte Wooten of Okolona, MS and Jennifer Morgan (Matt) of Randolph, MS; one son: Charles Wooten of Okolona, MS; one sister: Lorette Todd, of Amory, MS; two half-sisters: Maurine Cobb of Okolona, MS and Berrylean Barnett of Okolona, MS; three grandchildren: Brian Wooten, Courtney Wooten and Brayden Morgan, and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents: William Rosco Wooten, Sr., and Allie Mae Lewis; one half-sister: Leona Lewis, a brother: Bobby Wooten and a son: Ashley Wooten.
Pallbearers will be: Kyle Gillespie, Daniel Morgan, Matt Morgan, Andrew Morgan, Shane Dunaway and Gary Washington.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 PM Tuesday and from 12 to 2 PM Wednesday at the church.
