He was born July 18, 1946 to Tony Tarver and Jewel Rawls Tarver in Picayune, MS. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a Vietnam Veteran. Arthur was a member of the Poplarville Radio Club and a Mason of Carriere, MS.
Arthur leaves to cherish his memories to his wife/caregiver Beverly Farmer Tarver; three sons, Barry (Laura) Tarver, Aaron (Cynthia) Tarver and David (Amanda) Tarver; siblings, Linda Tarver, Charlotte Foster, James "Jamie" Tarver and Betty Redden; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
A Masonic graveside service was held for Arthur on Monday, February 12, 2018 at 4:00 pm at Poplarville City Cemetery, Poplarville, MS. Services entrusted to WHITE FUNERAL HOME, Poplarville, MS., 601-795.4982.
