Betty Lou Fairchild

Mrs. Fairchild was born July 23, 1945 in Poplarville, Mississippi. She was a seamstress at Movie Star, Inc.; a cosmetologist; and was a retired cafeteria worker with the Poplarville School District.

She is preceded in death by her parents, R.C. and May Bell Hester.

Family members include her husband of 15 years, Leon "Tootie" Fairchild; two sons, Densil (Sabrina) Pullen, Dusty (Sandy) Hyatt; one sister, Cecil Mae Dedeaux-Reid; grandchildren, Monica (Joseph) Beninto, Layla Hyatt, Channen Powell, Kipp Westling, T.J. (Meagan) Parker, Bailey Westling, Morgan Westling, Lane Price, Olivia Scott, Jay (Jennifer) Fairchild, Sarah Fairchild, Kelly Fairchild; great grandchildren, Hagen Price, Blakelynn Parker, Gerrod Fairchild, Cody Fairchild, Rachel Fairchild, Amelia Fairchild, "Little Thumper" who is expected in March 2022; a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at White Funeral Home (315 Highway 11 South, Poplarville, MS, 39470) on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at 3:00 pm. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends and have visitation from 12:00 pm, noon, until services, Sunday at the funeral home.
