Brenda Kae Monzon

Brenda was born December 20, 1955 in Poplarville, Mississippi. She was a graduate of Pearl River Community College where she earned her Associate's Degree in Nursing. She loved being a nurse and helping others in their time of need. She was a retired Registered Nurse of 31 years. She loved God, her children, and her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her father, Howard Hickman; and one sister, Linda Davis.

She is survived by her three children, who made up the entirety of her world: Philip Hickman, P.J. Monzon, LeRinda (Corbin) Boyd; her mother, Rosa Hickman; sisters, Billie Sones, Wanda Allen; four grandchildren, Zakary Hickman, Hannah Hickman, Breanne Hickman, and Kayden Hickman.

Services will be held at White Funeral Home (315 Highway 11 South, Poplarville, MS, 39470) on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in the Pate Seals Cemetery (2 Seals Cemetary Rd, Lumberton, MS, 39455). The family will receive friends and have visitation one hour prior to the service, Saturday at the funeral home.
