Funeral services will be 10:00 am Saturday July 23, 2011 at Oak Hill Baptist Church for Mrs. Cheryle McClendon, 67, of Poplarville, Mississippi who died Tuesday July 19, 2011 in Forrest General Hospital, Hattiesburg. Rev. Ed King will officiate at the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

She was a homemaker and a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, George Lamar and Marguerite Mitchell-Albritton; two brothers, Bob Albritton and Tommy Albritton; two sisters, Barbara Gibson and Ginny Renfort; and one grandson, Andrew Spiers.

Survivors include her husband, Rudy McClendon; two sons, George McClendon and his wife Paula and Scott McClendon and his wife Kim, all of Poplarville, Mississippi; two daughters, Dawn Riles and her husband Brad of Seminary, Mississippi, and Charity Suzanne McClendon of Poplarville, Mississippi; two brothers, Jim Albritton of Gulfport, Mississippi, and Doug Albritton of Biloxi, Mississippi; ten grandchildren, Bryce McClendon, Hayleigh McClendon, Blaiden McClendon, Victoria McClendon, Morgan McMullen, Lane McClendon, Morissa McMullen, Aaron Spiers, Ryan Spiers, and Shayne Kennair; one great grandson, Conner Spiers; and a special aunt, Geraldine Dearman.

Visitation will be 6pm until 9pm Friday July 22, 2011 at White Funeral Home, Poplarville.
