Christine Davison Humphrey

Mrs. Humphrey was born March 10, 1930 in Lufkin, Texas to Otto and Gertie Allen Davison. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and was the last acting Principal of Buck Branch School. She was also employed with Movie Star, Inc. and worked as a cosmetologist. She was an accomplished, self taught artist. She married James M. Humphrey on May 4, 1954 in Crossroads, Mississippi.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister, Idaline Barnes.

Family members include her husband, James M. Humphrey; one son, Cedric Humphrey; one brother, Kary Davison; one sister, Dennie Dominey; and a host of extended friends and family.

Funeral services will be held at Bethel Baptist Church, Crossroads on Monday, June 17, 2019 at 11:00 am. Rev. Dan Finley will officiate the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends and have visitation one hour prior to the service, Monday at the church.
