Funeral services will be at WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 315 Highway 11 South, Poplarville, MS on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in North Spoon Baptist Church Cemetery, Poplarville, MS. The family will receive friends and have visitation from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Friday, October 14, 2016 at the funeral home.

Ray leaves to cherish his memories to his beloved wife Brenda Rogers-Slade; four children, Crystal Rogers of Ellisville, MS, Bobbie Jo Poole of Bufford, SC, Mary Hoffer of Bryson City, NC and Rodney Smith of Poplarville, MS; three step children, Branden, Ashlee and Braelyn Slade all of Poplarville, MS; three brothers, Ernest “Soddy”, Tommy and Jimmy Rogers; four sisters, Ernestine “Priss” Montgomery, Daisy Smith, Laverne Kleyle and Cynthia Morris; six grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents Doff Rogers and Louise Sullivan Rogers; his son, Donald Ray “Peanut” Rogers, Jr.; two sisters, Shirley Pullens and Mable Miller; three brothers, Roy Rogers, Johnny Doff Rogers and Charles Edward Rogers, Sr.
