Mr. Anderson was born July 15, 1928 in Poplarville to Ervin Joyner Anderson and Cora Ladner Anderson. He was a retired dairy farmer, a US Army paratrooper serving in the 82nd Airborne Division; and of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Joan Pace Anderson; and one sister, Louise Anderson.
Family members include two daughters, Gail (Gene) Slade, Terri Lynn Anderson; three sons, Scott (Reba) Anderson, Kevin W. (Deb) Anderson, Stokley (Kim) Anderson; nine grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 315 Hwy 11 South, Poplarville, MS, 39470 on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Shannon Marshall will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Juniper Grove Cemetery. Visitation will from noon until services, Sunday at the funeral home.
