Franky Ray Buckley Sr.

Franky was born October 6, 1943 in Pascagoula to Frank Charles Buckley and Leona Smith Buckley. He was a pipefitter by trade and a devoted Christian man. He was a member of Community Baptist Church and the last living charter member. Above all, family, his farm, and serving the Lord was most important to him.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife 48 years, Mary Jane Jordan Buckley; and one grandson, Joseph Floren Buckley, Jr.; and one sister, Caroline Elkins.

Family members include four sons, Frankie Ray Buckley, Jr. (Debbie Glidewell), Markus Lynn Buckley (Cheire), Joseph Floren Buckley, Sr. (Charissa), Harry Bruce Buckley, Sr. (Jennifer); sixteen grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at Community Baptist Church, 32 Community Church Rd, Poplarville, MS, 39470 on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 10:00 am. Rev. Bill Cameron will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Talfare Smith Cemetery. The family will receive friends and have visitation after 6:00 pm on Friday at the church.

Pallbearers will be Justin Buckley, Kyle Buckley, Dillan Shoemake, Scott Hariel, Eddie Hariel, and Harry Buckley.

Honorary pallbearers will be Keith Lee, Tucker Buckley, and A.J. Easterling.
