Gerald Wayne Simmons

Mr. Simmons was a retired manager at Burger King of Poplarville and a Baptist by faith.

He is preceded in death by his father, Johnny Ray Simmons.

Survivors include two sons, Christopher Matthew Simmons and Joseph Wayne Simmons, both of Lumberton, MS; his mother, Johnnie Marion Allred of Gautier, MS; two brothers, Lawrence Edward (Claudia) Simmons of Charlotte, NC and David Earl (Tabitha Marie) Simmons of Vancleave, MS; three sisters, Debra Napier of Bessemer, AL, Lela Ann (Jim) Phillips of Bogalusa, LA, and Patricia Ann (Eric) Coludrovich of Long Beach, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family

Memorial services will be 10:30 am, Thursday, May 23, 2013 at Elder Ridge Missionary Baptist Church, 285 Havard Road, Lumberton, MS 39455 with Pastor Seth Bond officiating. The family will receive friends and have visitation one hour prior to the services, Thursday at the church.
