Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Leetown Church of the Lord Jesus Christ for Harold Edward Sullivan, Sr., 72, of Lumberton who died May 8, 2011 in Hattiesburg, MS. Burial followed in Entrekin Cemetery.
Mr. Sullivan is preceded in death by his parents: Elbert L.D. and Helen Sullivan; one son: Thomas Harold Sullivan; and one daughter: Sarah Lumpkin.
Survivors include his wife: Virginia Lee Sullivan of Lumberton, MS; one son: Harold E. Sullivan, Jr. of Clinton, AL; five daughters: Joyce Davenport of Wiggins, MS, Virginia Herrin of Lumberton, MS, Shirley Patton of Saucier, MS, Linda Tiernday of Madison, MS, and Rebecca Williams of Modesto, CA; five brothers: Elbert Sullivan of Rubin Gap, GA, Clifton Sullivan of Houston, TX, Archie Sullivan of Poplarville, MS, Dudley Sullivan of Washington and James Edward Sullivan of Jacksonville, FL; seventeen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
Visitation was held Monday, May 9, 2011 until the service time at the Sullivan residence.
