Services will be at WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 315 Highway 11 South, Poplarville, MS, 39470 on Monday, September 26, 2016 at 1:00 pm with Rev. James Bond and Rev. Bill Rester officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends and have visitation from 11:00 am until services, Monday at the funeral home.
Mr. McClendon was born January 4, 1950 in Poplarville to Jake McClendon and Dorothy Walley McClendon. He was a retired truck driver and Baptist by faith.
His parents precede him in death.
Family members include his wife, Ann McClendon; two children, Heith (Hollie) McClendon, Heather McClendon; three grandchildren, Lake McClendon, Sam McClendon, Banks McClendon; and five sisters, Donna (Terry) McGuyer, Janna Jackson, Mary Lou (Jeff) McElray, Lori (James) Bond, and Judy (Roger) Myers.
