John Allen Walters

John Allen "Paw Paw" Walters was born May 30, 1957 in Sweetwater, Texas to Sidney Jefferson and Ethel Dean Smith Walters. He was a faithful and loving husband for 18 years to Heidi Furr L. Walters. He worked as a diesel mechanic at T.A. of Slidell for over twenty years. He was loved by all, as he was a good, "God Fearing Man".

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one sister, Gwendolyn Faye Jenkins; and one grandson, Allen Joseph Walters, Jr.

Family members include his wife of 18 years, Heidi L. Walters; five children, Conrad, Joseph, Rebekka, Lawrence, Jonathan; eight grandchildren, Emily, Landon, Alliyah, Ava, Courtney, Owen, Heilyn, and Aiden; and one brother, Anthony Jefferson Walters.

A memorial service to honor Mr. Walters will be at Hickory Springs Baptist Church, 1082 Silver Run Road, Poplarville, MS, 39470 on Friday, November 16, 2018 at 11:00 am. Rev. Walter Pierce will officiate the service.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to Drs. Robbins, Soto, and McClain of Forrest General Hospital and the ICU nurses for taking such good care of Allen.
