Mr. Joseph "Jake" Williams

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday December 7, 2011 at Juniper Grove Baptist Church for Mr. Joseph "Jake" Williams, 86, of Poplarville, Mississippi who died Sunday December 4, 2011 in the Pearl River County Nursing Home, Poplarville. Rev. Breaux Tageant, Rev. Ken Rhodes, Rev. Kevin Neary, and Rev. Dionne Williams will officiate at the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

He was a deacon with Juniper Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Estelle S. Williams of Poplarville, MS; one son, Dionne Williams and his wife Susie of Gulfport, MS; one daughter, Deadra Neary and her husband Kevin of Poplarville, MS; two grandchildren, Natalie Findley and Tony Williams; and two great-grandchildren, Cooper Findley and Anna Mills Findley.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert N. and Beedie Smith Williams; two brothers, James B. Williams and Albert "A.C." Williams; and one sisters, Elizabeth White.

Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday December 6, 2011 at White Funeral Home, Poplarville and one hour prior to services Wednesday at the church.
