Kay Bennett Peterson

Kay was born August 19, 1953 in Sylacauga, Alabama. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Odis Bennett and Frances Lambert Bennett; her husband, David Wallace Peterson; and one granddaughter, Kara Cuevas.

Family members include five children, Michelle (Ken) Smith, Dwayne (Becky) Peterson, Robby (Kerri Beth) Peterson, Danny Hoda, Karen Sue Peterson; thirteen grandchildren, Slade (Cassidy Paige) Smtih, Cheyenne (Austin Davis) Smith, McKenzie ( Michael Richardson) Smith, Hope Smith, Sterling Smith, Sandra Gipson, Chad (Tammy) Peterson, Wally Peterson, Colton Peterson, Erin Peterson, Destanye Crowe, Dylan Hoda, Dyron (Ginger) Cuevas; and twenty three great grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services will be held at Smith (Old Steep Hollow) Cemetery (70 Barth Road, Poplarville, MS, 39470) on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at 2:00 pm.
