Services will be at White Funeral Home, 315 Highway 11 South, Poplarville on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at 3:00 pm. Rev. Stan Davis will officiate at the service. Burial will follow in Poplarville City Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Monday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Stewart was born March 6, 1928 in Stateline, Mississippi to Lloyd Gandy and Marie Reynolds Gandy. She was a legal assistant alongside her husband, L. Jack Stewart, Attorney-at-law. She was a member of Derby Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents; she is preceded in death by her husband, L. Jack Stewart; five siblings, Mildred Odom, Gladys Johnson, Howard Gandy, Billy Gandy, and Cleo White.
Family members include five children, Martin Burke (Ann), Janice Poole (Mike), Lisa Williams, Jack Stewart, Scott Stewart; seven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; a host of extended family and friends.
