Margaret Aileen Woodson

Mrs. Woodson was born June 12, 1949 in Soso, Mississippi to Burnice Levi Jones, Sr. and Willie Lee Gambrell Jones. She was a retired real estate broker and Pearl River County Election Commissioner. She was of the Christian faith. She was a graduate of Taylorsville High School and served as Head Majorette in the Tartar Band. She was an assistant to U.S. Magistrate John Countiss in Jackson, MS.

Margaret enjoyed many interests - gardening, antiques, and, above all, her family. She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.

Her parents precede her in death.

Family members include her husband of 38 years, Sidney A. Woodson; one daughter, Sydney Aileen Woodson; her grandsons, Spencer Levi Davis, Staten Scott Jones; siblings, Polly J. Killough, Burnice (Mary Margaret) Jones, Jr., Joy Belle (Dr. Robert) May; and a host of extended family and friends.

The family would like to thank all those involved in Margaret's care, especially, Ms. Faye Alexander.
