Mary Dandridge Byrd

Funeral services will be 3:00 pm, Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at White Funeral Home, Poplarville for Mary Francis "Toodlum" Byrd, 90, of Poplarville, MS who died Saturday, February 9, 2013 at her residence. Brother Robert Lee will officiate at the service. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Poplarville.

Mrs. Byrd was a World War II veteran of the Women's Army Air Corps, a member of Ford's Creek Baptist Church, retired loan officer with FHA, Keeper of the Year in 2006 with Brother's Keepers Ministries, and was a faithful worker and member of many other clubs and organizations.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James E. Byrd; one son, Ronnie Byrd; and one daughter, Terry Byrd Luper.

Survivors include three daughters, Jenny Ladner and Patricia Lee Byrd, both of Poplarville, MS, and Toni Byrd Newman of Houston, TX; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be two hours prior to the funeral, Wednesday at the funeral home.
