Maynard Harold Hyland, Sr., age 80, of Poplarville, Mississippi passed away on Monday, January 20, 2025. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Maynard retired from the Military. He was a Vietnam Veteran who served in the Navy, Airforce and Army.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Emery and Hulda Hyland and 10 siblings.
Maynard is survived by his loving wife, Mary Hyland; one son, Maynard Harold Hyland, Jr. (Tamela); four daughters, Kassidy "Kassie" Jones (Francis), Charlotte Johnson, Carol Case (Eddie) and Audra Kennedy (Darron); one sister, Yvonne Hetchler; eight grandchildren, William, Matthew, Levi, Bradyn, Ashley, Alex, Nickie and Tony and 13 great-grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation for Maynard on Monday, January 27, 2025 at White Funeral Home, 315 Hwy 11 South, Poplarville, Mississippi from 9:00 am until 10:30 am. Services will begin at 10:30 am. Burial to follow in Biloxi National Cemetery for 1:30 pm, with William Hyland, Matthew Hyland, Bradyn Jones and Levi Jones serving as pallbearers.
