Octavia Lee

Mrs. Lee was born January 13, 1925 in Purvis, MS. She was a homemaker.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy James Jones and Winnie Allen Jones; her husband, Marvin Lee; one son, James Junior Lee; and four siblings, James Jones, Mamie Courtney, Willie Bell Carter, Edna Creel; and one son-in-law, J.L. Walters.

Family members include three daughters, Patricia Walters, Cathi Short, Marlene (Rankin) Cole; one daughter-in-law, Rheba Lee; seven grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at White Funeral Home (315 Highway 11 South, Poplarville, MS, 39470) on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in Pleasant Home Cemetery (1556 Purvis to Baxterville Road, Purvis, MS, 39475). The family will receive friends and have visitation one hour prior to the service, Saturday at the funeral home.
