Otis Ray Fairley departed this life into God’s care on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at the age of 64. He was born to Orvis and Mary Dalton Archer Fairley on July 06, 1959 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. After high school, Otis attended Pearl River Community College and went on to have a successful career. After retirement, he returned to the workforce and worked for MDOT until his passing. He was a true outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish and absolutely adored his hunting dogs.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his only child, Holly Ann Dalton Fairley.
Left to forever cherish his memory are his wife of over 38 years, Babs Fairley; his brother, Luther Fairley and his two sisters, Linda Tidwell and Alecia Shaw.
A funeral service will be held at White Funeral Home in Poplarville on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 12:00pm. Friends are invited to join the family for visitation from 10:00am until the service begins. Burial will immediately follow at the Poplarville City Cemetery.
