Raymond R Spiers

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday July 14, 2012 at White Funeral Home, Poplarville for Mr. Raymond R. Spiers, 85, of Poplarville ( Derby), Mississippi who died Tuesday, July 10, 2012 in the Pearl River County Hospital, Poplarville. Brother Roger Miller will officiate at the service. Burial will follow in the Derby Cemetery.

Mr. Spiers is preceded in death by his parents, Daniel Randolph and Olgie Mildred Fornea Spiers; his wife, Judy A. Spiers; three sons in infancy; and one brother, Daniel Randolph Spiers, Jr.

Survivors include four daughters, Dee Odom of Hattiesburg, MS, Janet Nelson of Natchitoches, LA, Kathy Chance of Columbia, MS, and Paula Odom of Hattiesburg, MS; two sons, Wayne Spiers of Carrollton, VA and Michael Baughman of Hattiesburg, MS; two brothers, Fornea Spiers of Poplarville, MS and Billy Grayson Spiers of Fayetteville, NC; one sister, Joan Risher of Walker, LA; fourteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Friday, July 13, 2012 at White Funeral Home, 315 Highway 11 South, Poplarville, Mississippi 39470.
