Richard E. "Mardi Gras" Martin

Richard was born May 15, 1970 in Bogalusa, Louisiana. He was a retired truck driver and diesel mechanic.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John David Martin and Willie C. Schillings Martin; and his first wife, Luarinda Dianne Freeman Martin.

Family members include his wife of 22 years, Joyce McGill Martin; four children, Leanne (Scott) Williams, Keith (Haley) Martin, Krista Michelle (Michael) Stovall, Alex Skyler Martin; four siblings, Eugene (Lucy) Martin, Mae (Dophes) Woodard, Ruby Martin, David (Kay) Martin; five grandchildren, Cameron Stovall, McKensie Stovall, Bryson Stovall, Judi Williams, Journi Williams; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Brenda and Murphy McGill.

Family and friends are invited to attend Richard's memorial service on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 1:00 pm, at The Beginnings Church, 217 US 11 South, Poplarville, MS 39470. Visitation one hour prior to the service.
