Sharon Lee, age 72 departed this life into God's presence on Thursday, October 9, 2025. She loved fiercely and unconditionally. Sharon was a devoted homemaker and the glue that held her family together. She was full of life, laughter and fun, she brought warmth into every room she entered. Those who knew her never questioned who she was or where she stood. Sharon lived with love and a deep sense of purpose. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John G. Lee; parents, J.W. Brown and Laura and James Head; two sons, Keith Fairchild and Jason Wayne Fairchild.
Left to forever cherish her memory are her two sons, John P. Lee (Carmen) and Jeffrey A. Lee (Lesa); one sister, Tonya Tynes (Al); one brother, Allen Brown (Sherrell); 12 grandchildren, Landon Tynes, John R. Lee (Harli), Dalton Traylor, Destiny Jordan (Kade), Jasy Smith (Colton), Preston Lee (Lexxie), Dylan Traylor, Lauren Tynes, Cole Jordan, Jaxon Lee, Cash Lee and Kendall Lee; four great-grandchildren, Parker Lee, Jhett Lee, Canyon Smith and Jacelynn Lee.
Family and friends are invited to attend Sharon's visitation on Friday, October 17, 2025 from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm at Derby Place Missionary Baptist Church, 9675 Highway 11 South, Poplarville, Mississippi. Her funeral service will begin on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 10:00 am, at Derby Place Missionary Baptist Church. Burial to follow in Derby Place Cemetery, Poplarville, Mississippi with Scott Holliday, Jason Johnston, Will Jordan, Richard Alexander, Colton Smith, Preston Lee, Jaxon Lee, Kendall Lee, John Lee, Cash Lee and Dalton Traylor serving as pallbearers with Parker Lee, Jhett Lee and Canyon Smith serving as honorary pallbearers.
