Simon loved life and shared his love of Jesus Christ boldly and without hesitation. His love of the Cherokee tradition was evident in his musical talent with the flute and drums. Simon cherished the time he had with his sons. Because he wanted to tap into his songwriting skills he recently learned to play guitar. Simon gave God 100% and God said that's all I need and was ready to take him home. He leaves a legacy to be proud of. We will share his story with love and pride.
Left to cherish Simon’s memories are his wife, Nicole Williams Templet; three sons, Walker, Lukas, and Samuel; one stepson, Destin; his parents, Ruth and Strother Sacra; his father, J. Templet; three brothers, Strother Lee (Sarah), Jonathan (Jaime), Jerry (Ivonne); his grandfather, Captain H.W. Smith; his grandmother, Marjorie Sacra; four nieces, Kylie, Julia, Vera, and Lily; one nephew Jerry; one great niece Braelyn; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.
