Terry Doyle Smith

Terry Doyle Smith, departed this life into God’s presence on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at the age of 64. He was deeply devoted to the Poplarville Athletic Department at Poplarville High School. If there was a sporting event, Terry Doyle was there faithfully, supporting students, athletes and the community he loved. He dedicated over 12 years of service to Poplarville High School and was honored as a member of the Poplarville Hall of Fame Alumni. Terry Doyle was a hardworking and dedicated cattle farmer, a role he took great pride in. He truly never met a stranger and never had an enemy in the world. There wasn’t a person he ever encountered who didn’t like him. Terry Doyle’s kindness, loyalty and genuine spirit left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his dad, Elwood Smith.

Left to forever cherish Terry Doyle’s memory is his mom, Cleo Smith and one sister, Angie Bedwell (the late Allen).

Friends and family are invited to attend Terry Doyle’s visitation on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm at White Funeral Home, 315 Hwy 11 South, Poplarville, Mississippi. Terry Doyle’s funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm with Bro. Ken Rhodes officiating the service. Burial will follow in Juniper Grove Cemetery, Poplarville, Mississippi.
