Virginia Harriel, age 87, entered into eternal rest peacefully on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. She was known for her gentle spirit, kind heart and unwavering strength and compassion towards others. She was a homemaker who opened her door for anyone. Virginia lived a life marked by grace and resilience. Even in her later years, she remained independent and active. Her warm smile and nurturing soul touched countless lives. Virginia was always ready to provide a listening ear, kind words and open arms. She spent her last few years at her daughter and grandsons house with her loving dog Lucy by her side.
Her legacy of love, patience and care will live on in the hearts of her two children, Dale Harriel (Lynette) and Trudy Miller, her eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, two great-great grandsons, and many nieces and nephews that she loved as her own, and all who were blessed to know her.
She is preceded in death by her beloved loving husband, Francis Harriel, two children, Pamela Harriel and Greg Harriel, seven siblings and mother and father, Burbie and Olen Anderson.
Her survived loving family will carry her memory forward with deep affection and gratitude.
A celebration of Virginia’s life will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at 10:00 am, at Crane Creek Cemetery, Perkinston, MS, where we will honor the beautiful life she lived and the gentle strength she shared with us all.
