Services will be at White Funeral Home, 315 Hwy 11 South, Poplarville on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at 1:00 pm. Brother Tommy Hudnall and Brother Donnie Broome will officiate the service. Burial will follow in George Ford Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Carriere. The family will receive friends and have visitation from 10:00 am until services, Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Penton was born July 24, 1940 in Picayune in Rayford W. Burge and Rhoda Madden Burge. She was a homemaker and a member of George Ford Missionary Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by five brothers, Douglas Burge, Donnie Burge, Billy Burge, Bobby Burge, and H.A. Burge.

Family members include her husband, Clyde Penton; one daughter, Darlene Archer (Joey); three sons, Ray Penton (Shelly), Glenn Penton (Jackie), Timothy Penton (Sherri); one sister, Onna Ladner; fourteen grandchildren, Brooke, Derek, Justin, Audra, Jade, Eric, Zack, Sarah, Bryson, Timothy, Lindsey, Jessie, Danica, Destinee; and eight great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Zack Penton, Eric Brown, Justin Archer, Jesse Penton, Bryson Penton, and Derek Penton. Honorary pallbearers will be Jade Brown and Jerry Ladner.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to George Ford Missionary Baptist Church.
