March 12, 1914 ~ December 21, 2011

Tena passed away peacefully at Fir Park Village on Wednesday, December 21, 2011. She came to the Alberni Valley in the spring of 1937 with a babe in arms and a toddler in tow. Predeceased by first her husband Oscar Gagnon, second husband Mike Jaworski, daughter Claire Reimer and all three of her younger siblings John, Sue and Margo. Tena is survived by her son J.A. Cyril Gagnon (Harriet); eight grandchildren: Lloyd Reimer, Debbie Allard (Dan), Darlene Irvine, Rodney Reimer (Sherri), Penny Poland (John), Kevin Reimer (Mary), Michelle Gagnon (Brian) and Keith Gagnon (Joanne), 15 great grandchildren and 5 greatgreat grandchildren as well as other relatives and friends. A Memorial Mass will be held at Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church 4731 Burke Rd on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at 1:00pm, with Fr. Stephen Paine officiating. Cremation has taken place.
