Darinka "Nona" Frlan Vukelic

Predeceased by her parents Kuzma and Veronika Frlan; first husband Marijan Susanj; second husband Josip Vukelic; daughter Vali and two sisters: Fides and Gloria . Darinka is survived by her daughter Noris Radetic (Boris); granddaughters: Lisa (Troy) and Natalie as well as niece Loretta, nephew Alex and their families as well as other relatives in Croatia.

Darinka was born in Matulji (Italy) Croatia. She worked as a secretary until her retirement and then immigrated to Canada in 1982 to be closer to her family.

She missed her homeland and visited faithfully every year. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, whose family always came first. Darinka was strong, courageous and always willing to help those in need. She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00am on Saturday, January 21st, 2012 at Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church, 4731 Burke Rd. Cremation has already taken place.
