Predeceased by son Kim, Don is survived by his loving wife Cindy; children Brad(Donna) and Pam; step children Tracy and Sean; 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
Don was born in Leslie Saskatchewan to George and Runa. The family moved to Port Alberni 60 years ago. Don was self employed most of his life. In his early years he liked going back to Saskatchewan for bird hunting with his sons. In his later years he enjoyed bus trips and going to casinos. Don was the last of 10 siblings.
According to Don’s wishes no formal service will be held.
