Jacqueline McFadden

Predeceased by parents Florence and Leonard, Jackie is survived by daughter Carla (Adam) Gill, and son David (Shannon); grandchildren, Caden, Natasha and Blake; siblings, Leonard (Elaine), Thomas, William (Denise), Irene (Philip) Towell, and Margaret (Billy) Mallan; as well as numerous nieces and nephews in Canada and the UK.

Born and raised in the UK, Jackie became a meat cutter at a butcher shop in one of the local markets. In 1993 she moved to Port Alberni, and with her giving nature and love of animals she quickly found a place working and volunteering at the local SPCA as well as Hertel's. Jackie later became a chef at Smitty’s Pancake House where she has stayed for over 6 years prior to her passing. Jackie was a loving mother and grandmother with a giving nature, always willing to help anyone out.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00pm, Monday, July 16, 2012 from the Galaxy Way Trailer Park - #10 – 7860 McKenzie Road, Port Alberni.(Bring your own chairs please).In lieu of flowers, donations in Jackie’s memory may be made to the SPCA, 4936 Broughton St, Port Alberni, BC., V9Y 7L9.
