Jan passed away on March 1, 2019 at the age of 84. Predeceased by her parents Jean and John Harper and her brothers Jack, Bob and Colin Harper. Survived by her loving husband Karl and children Debb (Peter) Rayburn, Katherine Maldaner and Robb (Michelle) Maldaner; grandchildren Tareen and Andrea Rayburn and Shelby and Darby Maldaner and great granddaughters Aydan Clark and Payton Lucas. Brothers Jim (BJ), Bruce and Rob Harper, sisters Joyce (Gil) Germain, Heather (Jim) Drake and Jackie Harper as well as many nieces and nephews.
Jan was patient and loving and enjoyed spending time with family and friends whether it was summers camping on Quadra Island or rockhounding with the Port Alberni Rock and Gem Club.
Cremation has taken place and at the family's request there will be no service at this time.
