Jessie Beatrice Parsons Cheetham

Predeceased by her husband Frank, sisters Millie Bishop, Myrtle Laye, and brother Dick Parsons. She is survived by her children: Gary (Liz), Lindsay (Diane), Doug (Donna), Bill (Janice) and Glen (Michelle); grandchildren Mary Ann (Keith), Danny (Linzi), Landen, Tyler (Karleen), Nick (Amy), Hannah, adoptive grandchildren Sarah, Amy, Donelle and Brandon; great-grandchildren Rylan, Macie, Rieker, Naomi, Beren, James, Hugo; Hugo’s sister to be due in August; sister Eva Cousineau as well as many nieces and nephews.

Jessie was a loving mother and homemaker. She was well known for making the best chocolate chip cookies and spaghetti for her family. Her family was her life. She was an avid curler, volunteer and a member of the Sunshine Club. We could always tell where she was because of hearing her laughter.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Chapel of Memories Funeral Home, 4005 6th Avenue, Port Alberni with Reverend Laura Hargrove officiating.
