Leslie Harold Dane

He was predeceased by his parents, Harold and Edith Dane, and his brother, Gary Dane. He is survived by his loving wife, Angelika Dane; his daughter, Deborah Dane; his sons, Geoffry Dane, Gregory Dane, Darren Turner, and Mathew Dane; his brother, Brian Dane; and 10 grandchildren.

Les had a warm, approachable nature that made people feel instantly at ease. He was well-liked by everyone who knew him and will be deeply missed for his good humor, easygoing spirit, and kindness. He had a lifelong love for tennis & badminton and found great joy in being active and outdoors. Whether he was soaking up the knowledge of a good book, or enjoying a beer in the sun after a swim in the ocean, he appreciated the simple pleasures in life. Though gifted in many things, he excelled most in being an incredible father and husband.

Les had a deep love for reading and storytelling. His ability to engage people through his words brought joy and laughter, and he often left a lasting impression with his warm and captivating stories.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
