Linda was preceded by many loving extended family members whom we take comfort in knowing that she would be lovingly welcomed into the next part of her journey.
Linda is survived by her loving partner Ken Majore, son Ron Delmer and grandson's Justin and Ryan, and step-son Adam, her mother Marjorie Ferguson; siblings Bob, Lori, Allan (Barb), Donna, Patty and Steven (Colleen); numerous nieces, nephews and extended family as well as many, many friends.
Linda was born and raised in the Alberni Valley on Vancouver Island, then spent several years living and working in Vancouver, where she loved spending time with our Uncle Bob and cousin Rob Ferguson.. but the love of her Hometown surrounded by lakes and rivers was the adventure she had yearned to get back to..
Linda was well known as being an amazing cook and hostess, lover of many genres of music and played the Bass guitar lifelong.. She loved the sun, being around water and riding her bicycle.. Her favorite place in the world was hanging with family down on the family farm by the river.. Linda cherished her family immensely, and was a special friend, partner, auntie, sister, daughter, mother and grandmother to us all..
A Celebration of Linda's life will be held at a later date when COVID allows a gathering.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Linda's memory may be made to the Variety Club, 4300 Still Creek Drive, Burnaby, BC., V5C 6C6
